An electric mountain bike ride in one of Corsica’s most beautiful landscapes. Meet in the early morning in Zicavo, in the heart of the Taravo region, in front of the village grocery shop, the starting point for your ride through the heights of the region. A shuttle bus will take you to the Cuscionu plateau, where your mountain bike tour will start. You’ll be able to cross this immense high plateau in its entirety, where numerous endemic Corsican species live side by side under the protection of Natura 2000. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy local produce in one of the refuges along the mythical GR20 route, as well as taking a break for a swim.

The first village you’ll discover, Cozzano, is known as a “Smart village”. In Cozzano, you can visit the U Mondu di u Porcu museum (optional extra: +€10). You will then make your way to a number of villages, including Palneca, with a possible stop at a Ciamannacce pottery, and Sampolo. You’ll finish your morning near the village of Corrano, where you’ll cross a centuries-old Genoese bridge. It’s here that a picnic based on local produce awaits you. Finally, just half an hour from the end, you can take a dip in the thermal water of the Guitera baths, at over 50°C, reputed to treat rheumatism and dermatological problems. Ideal after a day’s mountain biking.
